Our Newsletter – A Recruitment Channel?

I’ve gotten several resumes in the last few days from people who said they’ve been active readers of the CB Insights newsletter for a while. I love this. While our newsletter’s intent is to help create awareness of our data and product among customers, this has been great to see.

These are people who’ve been tracking us and getting to know us and our business over time. They like what we’re doing, our tone and personality and the fact that we’re revenue-funded. They also think we’re on the verge of building something big and meaningful. I couldn’t agree more.

I don’t know if any of these folks will be future teammates, but I’m really happy that a channel we thought would be for customer acquisition is now attracting talented people who want to join us as well. ¬†Two birds, one stone – or something like that.

Exciting times.
